  • Skoda breaks Bonneville record!
  • Earlier this year we were approached by Skoda UK to build an engine for them for Bonneville Speed Week.

With a very limited amount of development time we put an engine together that we felt would do the job.

Needless to say we smashed the record, see here for further details.

  • New engine dyno purchased.
  • We have just purchased a Land and Sea engine dyno to complement our existing Dynojet motorcycle chassis dyno. This new dyno will allow testing, development and mapping of both motorcycle and car engines.

The new dyno is a water brake dyno and rated to over 900bhp and 12,000rpm. Installation will occur over the coming weeks so it should be operational very soon.

  • British Superbike EVO championship finale brings us success.
  • Congratulations to Jentin Racing BMW on winning the brand new BSB-EVO championship sponsored by Mirror.co.uk using a Motec M170 ECU set-up and mapped by Race Developments.

Pushing them to the end and coming in only 3 points behind in 2nd place were the Splitlath Motorsport Aprilia team.
Race Developments conducted a detailed engine development programme through 2010 on the Aprilia RSV4. Despite running quite restrictive engine regulations it resulted in a bike that was every bit the match for the BMW on power and produced some great racing.

Congratulations to both teams on a fantastic season and we look forward to 2011.

  • Lee Dunham powers his Kawasaki KX250F to retain the AMCA MX2 Championship and also win the 2010 IMBA MX2 European Championship with a Race Developments engine.
  • Congratulations to Lee Dunham on his spectacular year!
Lee retains his AMCA MX2 Championship and is also crowned 2010 IMBA MX2 Champion.

After testing all the motocross engines from the worlds top tuners Lee chose our engines for his very successful 2010 season.
Great work Lee and we hope to be working with you again in 2011.
